The registration process for students NEW to St. Joseph School will be held exclusively online.
Please see the Admissions page on our website at www.sjsplacentia.org. The New Student Registration process link will begin in March. The online registration process must be completed to be eligible for new student assessment days (see below).
The new student application fee of $100.00 is non-refundable and payable at the time the online application is submitted. The only form of payment accepted is electronic check or credit card. The application fee will be applied to the annual registration fee for accepted students.
Students MUST be 5 years of age by March 31st of the school year to enter Transitional Kindergarten
Students MUST be 5 years of age by September 1st of the school year to enter Kindergarten and
6 years of age by September 1 of the school year for Grade 1
New families will be contacted to confirm receipt of the online registration process and assign a student assessment date.
New student assessments will be held on the following date(s):
No testing for Transitional Kindergarten
Kindergarten: March 2nd, and 3rd
1st – 8th Grade: March 10th, Make-up Day:TBA
Please bring copies of the following documents with you to your assessment session. New Students will not be officially accepted to the school unless all required documents have been submitted and verified by the school office.

For students entering Grades 1-8 • Standardized Test Scores for students entering Grades 3-8 • Verification of Baptism, Reconciliation and First Eucharist
Official Registration can begin once the individual student is accepted
